Working with the brain's natural healing processes

Wingwave was developed in Germany and draws on research from neuroscience, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and performance psychology. It uses bilateral stimulation — alternating guided eye movements, sounds or touch — to access and process stored emotional memories.

When we experience stress or trauma, the brain's processing can become "stuck" — leading to emotional responses that feel overwhelming or out of proportion. Wingwave unsticks this processing, allowing the brain to move the experience into long-term memory where it no longer triggers the same emotional charge.

What makes Wingwave unique is that it combines this bilateral stimulation with a muscle testing technique (myokinesthetics) to identify and target exactly the right emotional theme for each session — making it highly precise and efficient.

Not just for trauma

While Wingwave is highly effective for trauma and PTSD, it is equally powerful as a performance coaching tool. Many clients come specifically to improve their performance in sport, exams, presentations, driving tests, job interviews or musical performance.

If you have a specific fear, a recurring emotional pattern, or simply feel that something is holding you back — Wingwave is worth considering. It tends to work particularly well where there is a specific trigger or situation that causes a disproportionate emotional response.

How a Wingwave session works

1

Identifying the Theme

Using a muscle testing technique (myokinesthetics), we identify the precise emotional theme or trigger causing the block. This makes Wingwave highly targeted — we work on exactly what matters, with no guesswork.

2

Bilateral Stimulation

I guide alternating stimulation — through eye movements, sounds or touch. This mimics the brain's natural REM (dream-state) processing and allows stored emotional memories to be safely reprocessed.

3

Integration & Change

As processing completes, the emotional charge reduces. Many clients notice the shift within the session itself — the memory or trigger simply no longer feels the same. Results tend to be lasting.
